Knox looking for sixth man in WR rotation

Auburn receiver coach Greg Knox has five. He's looking for six.

No, not consecutive Iron Bowl-wins, although he'd take it. Knox is looking for the sixth receiver to work in the rotation.

Through the first 14 days of fall, he's yet to find the man.

"I know there are five (receivers) that can help us right now. We're looking for that sixth one to emerge," said Knox. "I like to play six. We're looking for a No. 6 if one can emerge between now and Game One."

Knox wouldn't disclose which five receivers have solidified themselves on the depth chart, although Rod Smith, Robert Dunn, Prechae Rodriguez, Tim Hawthorne and James Swinton have gotten the majority of reps.

Chris Slaughter, Terrell Zachery and currently-injured Montez Billings appear to be battling for the coveted sixth spot.
