There have been several depth chart and positional changes in the last week. Defensive lineman Jarius Wynn who has been working at both defensive end and defensive tackle has moved almost exclusively to defensive tackle. Wynn is working with the second team defensive tackles behind starters Jeff Owens and Kade Weston.
Linebackers Coach John Jancek has finally found a rotation he likes and it looks like Brandon Miller will remain at his original position at the Sam linebacker. Dannell Ellerbe will start at the Mike with Marcus Washington backing him up and Darius Dewberry will start at the Will with Rennie Curran working as his backup. Darryl Gamble, Charles White, and Justin Houston make up the third team linebackers.
Thomas Flowers has pulled ahead of Asher Allen in the race for the starting boundary cornerback. If Flowers ends up starting Allen will have to battle Prince Miller for time as the nickel corner. Reshad Jones lined up as the starting free safety ahead of C.J. Byrd in the other secondary position battle.
