Carroll wants to see Washington

Although Allen Carroll doesn't seem to be any closer to making a decision, he has begun the process of narrowing down his list of schools. The massive 6-foot-4, 286-pound offensive lineman from McClymonds High School in Oakland has offers on the table from over half the Pac-10, plus Nebraska and Fresno State.

"I haven't really eliminated any schools," he said, "but I'm planning on taking trips to Washington, Arizona, UCLA, Oregon and Nebraska."

Nebraska was the first school to offer Carroll, but that doesn't necessarily give them an edge at this point, and it is probably the school he has the least interest in at this point. He says the most important factor for him will be the relationship he develops with members of the coaching staffs, which is what he'll be looking for when he takes his visits.
