Not ready for prime time

No matter how badly you think you have it, there's always someone else in a worse position.

That's something Oklahoma State fans need to think about right now.

After all, you could be Michigan fans.

So, the Cowboys went to Dixie and got beat like a drum. That was still more respectable than what the Wolverines did, as little Appalachian State went into the Big House and activated Lloyd Carr's retirement.

Somewhere in Louisiana, Les Miles is packing his stuff already.

And while fans in the Maize and Blue are moaning about their Big Blue's season already being over, fans in Orange Country moaning similar comments need to take a step back and think about what they're saying.

OSU's 2007 season isn't over. Yes, the loss to Georgia this past weekend was tough, but it doesn't blow the season apart like the Wolverines' loss did to theirs. While they were looking toward realistic shots at a Big Ten title and a possible national championship, the Pokes weren't exactly expected to be players for a Big 12 title or BCS bid this year.
