Things still the same for four-star

Offensive lineman Khaled Holmes (6-3, 300) and his Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei teammates will get the ball rolling this Friday Night when they take on West Covina, Calif., in their season opener.

Holmes didn't attend any camps this summer deciding on concentrating working out with his team and giving 100 percent focus on his senior season.

Now that September 1st has arrived coaches now can make phone calls, but unfortunately his cell phone has been missing in action because someone stole his phone and he just recently reactivated so he isn't aware outside of Stanford what schools have called.

That doesn't matter because Holmes has a good beat on his recruitment.

"USC still leads and Cal is number two," Holmes said. "Stanford and Notre Dame are a little behind Cal.
