Pac-Tending Plus

Most of the Pac-10 teams won their non-conference openers with California's win over Tennessee perhaps racking up the biggest win of the week. Meanwhile, UCLA won their conference opener over Stanford to take the early lead in the league race. CougZone takes you on a whirlwind tour of what's going through the minds of the conference's coaches as the second week of the season approaches.

Other Stuff - Says Dennis Dixon has more "command" of the offense this year and is running the ball more this year by design [he had to be talked into it last year] and the defensive flaws that allowed Houston to score 27 points were incorrect alignments, execution and missed tackles.
