James enjoys visit to Ft. Worth

Top prospects want to play for top programs. Texarkana (TX) Liberty-Eylau RB LaMichael James is no different. With offers from Arkansas, Houston, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma St., Tulsa and TCU, it's apparent that some highly respected programs are seeing what James brings to the table; and they like what they see.

With an impressive list of offers in hand, James took time out of his busy schedule to visit one of his 3 favorite schools, the TCU Horned Frogs. Listing a top 3 of Nebraska, Minnesota and TCU, James was on hand to witness the Horned Frogs 27-0 dismantling of the Baylor Bears.

PurpleMenace.Com caught up with the talented Texan to get his view on the visit and the Horned Frogs dominating performance.

"It was great, everything about the visit was good. I like everything about TCU right now" said James. "I'm still pretty open right now though, I want to take my other two visits to see where I feel the most comfortable"

While James admits that he feels very comfortable with the Frogs, he wants to take the other visits to make sure he is at peace with the decision he makes. He knows that it won't be an easy one. When asked if he would be tuning in for the clash between the #19 Horned Frogs and the #7 Texas Longhorns Saturday evening James responded. "oh yeah".

With the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Minnesota Golden Gophers as the primary competition for James' services, PurpleMenace.Com asked LaMichael to size up the other 2 schools.

"Well, I like Nebraska and I'm visiting them on September 14th. I'm visiting Minnesota on the 21st as well" said James. "With Nebraska already receiving a commitment from a high profile back(Jonas Gray) it gives me something to think about. Minnesota is a long way away and I want my family to be able to watch me play but I still like them. Distance isn't that big of a deal, but with TCU being so close it is a plus for them. I really like TCU a lot".

Last week James began his Senior year off right my busting through the North Lamar (TX) High defense for 250 yards on just 15 carries and he scored twice to boot. The sky is the limit for this dynamic back and the Horned Frog faithful are hoping that James wants to continue his dominance in a TCU uniform, Stay tuned to PurpleMenace.Com to see where this special playmaker ends up.
