Notebook: Groves closing in on record

Just one more sack.

That's all Auburn senior defensive end Quentin Groves needs to match AU's career record of 26 held by Gerald Robinson.

"I'm looking for it, but at the same time, I'm not going to press for it," said Groves. "If it comes to me, it comes to me."

Robinson set the record from 1982-85, part of one of AU's most historic runs of four SEC Championships in the 80's. Groves has never met Robinson but hopes to change that soon.

"I wanted to meet him and get in touch with him and have him at the game," said Groves. "We need to recognize his great accomplishment."
