Game 2: Scouting Florida International
The Maryland Terrapins first road game of the season will be a test of focus. On paper there is little reason to fear Florida International, a team coming off a 59-0 loss in its season opener and riding a 13-game losing streak.
The Golden Panthers are led by the nation's second youngest coach, 36-year-old Mario Cristobal, and may have the country's youngest team - FIU's 93-man roster features 68 underclassmen. Maryland needs to show it has the maturity to go on the road and avoid looking ahead to the highest profile game on its schedule, Thursday night's much anticipated showdown with No. 3 West Virginia.
Terps lead 1-0 on the strength of last season's 14-10 victory.
