Nation's top corner planning visits
Perhaps no prospect in the class of 2008 saw his stock rise faster this summer than Pompano Beach (FL) Ely's Patrick Johnson.
After a series of camp performances, the 6-foot-1, 193 pound cornerback went from being ranked as the no. 4 player in the Sunshine State to the no. 3 overall player in the country in a matter of months.
Along with the rise in rankings, the Miami commitment has seen an increase in attention. While he holds offers from programs across the country, Johnson says that there are a couple of schools, besides the Hurricanes, that have caught his attention.
