Utes thump Bruins

UCLA was thumped by Utah 44-6 in what was truly one of their worst defeats in a long time. Not only was this bad, it was ugly too. UCLA was outcoached, outplayed and outhustled. The Bruins were embarrassed by an inspired Utah team that came to play.

If you didn't know any better, you would have thought that Utah was the team that nationally ranked headed into the top 10 and not UCLA.

The way the Bruins lost was sadder than a Country and Western song and twice as depressing.

How can a team ranked 11 in the nation not show up? Utah whipped UCLA on offense, defense and special teams.

The Bruins were their own worst enemy turning the ball over to the Utes five times on the day. You aren't going to win many football games doing that.
