Hogue hopes to jump start run game

With the orange running game spurting out of control, maybe it's time for Greg Robinson and the rest of the coaching staff to try something new.

Maybe it's time to let some of the new guys get some touches in the backfield and see what they can do.

Looking to step up to the forefront might be freshman Doug Hogue. The Yonkers (NY) native has had an up and down first half of the season.

But it's something he knew would happen coming in.

"Going from the high school level to the college level is a big adjustment," he said. "I don't care who you are, it's not going to bee smooth sailing all year long. There will be some bumps."

The bumps could be from a 1-5 Orange record or from the 47 total rushing yards Hogue has picked up thus far.
