Alabama cornerback set to visit State

While Mississippi State's class of '08 is filling up fast, the official visit season is just starting to get underway and those dates will be used to fill in the remaining slots. With 16 commitments already in, who will fill the few remaining holes? One player has set a date to see if Starkville is the right place for him and will be in next month. Will he get the nod?

Mobile (Ala.) St. Paul's Louis Watson had originally planned to visit State for the Tennessee game, but after a talk with his recruiting coach, Pat Washington, the Alabama game appeared to be a better fit.

So far Watson has taken one official trip, with three others planned. His first trip - to Purdue - made a big impression on him and at this point the Boilermakers are the team to beat for his services.
