Kevin Brown won't let down

Senior defensive tackle Kevin Brown had an outstanding game against Cal last Saturday and if the Bruins are to be successful the rest of the year, Brown will have to continue to play the way he's been performing this season. With all the injuries that the Bruins are facing it was good to see Brown step up the way he did against a very good Cal team.

Brown spent some time with BruinBlitz.com after practice this week and shared his insight on Cal and Washington State.

BruinBlitz.com: Outstanding game against Cal, you were really pumped up did something happen out there that ticked you off?

Brown: "No just playing ball. In certain games, certain situations and opportunities arise you have to take them you know. Fortunately some plays came my way and I made a couple of plays just like everybody else did. Everybody did a great job on Saturday.

BruinBlitz.com: It looked like you were getting held a lot by Cal…

Brown: "Yeah, I was getting held and I was trying to talk to the referee and he just wasn't hearing it. I was like having two minute conversations and they were disputing the penalty and I was like dude they are pulling me down. I'm not just falling down by myself. I pass up a guy and he's pulling me to the floor and I'm like hey, but I guess they just wanted to play that game. We got the W so I'm not worried about it or complaining.
