Michigan wants Boren legacy to continue
When his older brother, Justin, was going through the recruiting process in the class of 2006, Pickerington (Ohio) Central's Zach Boren was adamant his brother continue the legacy started by their father, Mike, of playing for Michigan. Now, the younger Boren is a recruit himself and continuing that legacy is a question he struggles with.
To Michigan fans familiar with the Boren's, it is hard for them to foresee Zach Boren playing anywhere other than in Ann Arbor. It apparently is hard for Michigan head coach Lloyd Carr to see the younger Boren playing for anyone other than the Maize and Blue also, and he expressed those feelings to him this past weekend when the family visited for the Minnesota game.
