Can Orange pass road test?

Syracuse will hit the road to Storrs (Conn.) for its last away game Saturday to face 25th ranked, 8-2 UConn.

The Huskies are undefeated at home and hadn't lost a Big East game until last weekend when they were trounced by Cincinnati, 27-3. It will be senior day for the Huskies as they play their last game at Rentschler field in 2007.

UConn's home wins include an impressive list of victims. Three of its home triumphs have come against Louisville, South Florida, and Rutgers.

It will be one of Syracuse coach Greg Robinson's last chances to salvage something positive from his third season, as the Orange shoot for a road win against a ranked opponent.

However, coming off last week's disappointing loss to USF in the Dome, an Orange win this weekend isn't looking likely.

UConn's motivation to finish undefeated at home on senior day will be strong. The Huskies have built a strong football team on running and defense.
