Casey closing in on final visit

Heading into the second-round of the CIF playoffs this week, the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits continue to dominate opponents at the point of attack.

Beating Santa Margarita 39-7 Friday, Poly's front line held the Eagles to just five yards rushing in the first half. Leading the way, as usual, was Jurrell Casey.

Adding another 10 tackles to his season total, Casey has become an interchangeable juggernaut in the Jackrabbit lineup.

As a defensive tackle, Casey pounds the dive play into shallow submission. As a defensive end, he explodes off the edge like an M80 in a mailbox. As a linebacker, he stalks like a big cat - a very big cat.
