Can Richmond stop the Mountaineers?

It's that time of year again - the national semifinals are in Boone, N.C., for the third straight season and the Appalachian State Mountaineers have grown quite accustomed to making their final game in Kidd Brewer Stadium one to remember.

Tonight's contest versus the 11-2 Richmond Spiders should give App State fans yet another exciting game at 'The Rock' and if all goes according to plan they'll provide another night to remember.

The Spiders entered the playoffs ranked No. 6 in the nation and are heading to Boone with the longest winning streak in FCS football - eight games. Along the way, Richmond has defeated four nationally ranked teams over and five ranked squads for the season.
