Perry settled on four finalists

San Antonio - Detroit King defensive end Nick Perry was a late addition to the U.S. Army All-American game, but not because his skills made him a borderline selection. Confusion over the MHSAA's rules for postseason all-star games as well as his late surge in the rankings were mostly to blame.

Now on the field with his fellow Army All-Americans, Perry is standing out amongst the crowd, earning Hot 11 honors once already this week despite playing out of position at linebacker. The buzz he is creating this week only adds to the volume that has been deafening since the start of his senior season.
