Missouri LB attends Iowa junior day
Among the visitors at Iowa's junior day this past weekend was Missouri linebacker Andrew Wilson. For the 6-foot-4, 225-pound Wilson, who attends Raymore-Peculiar High School, it was his first visit ever to Iowa City.
Wilson made the trip to Iowa City with high school teammate Gavin Lutman, who is a 6-foot-3, 190-pound wide receiver. During the visit, the duo head a chance to visit with the Iowa coaching staff, including recruiting coordinator Eric Johnson.
Wilson, who had 123 tackles as a junior, said he could project at linebacker or defensive end in college. Currently, a number of schools remain in contact, including Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Kansas, Colorado, Northwestern, Illinois, and Arkansas.
Wilson plans to attend junior days at Missouri and Wisconsin in February.
