Sunshine State TE visits Georgia
Many knew about Rivals100 quarterback Aaron Murray visiting UGA last week, but not many knew about tight end Orson Charles. Charles is quickly making a name for himself with some impressive offers and he was impressed by the Dawgs.
"The visit to Georgia was great man and I loved it," said Charles. "I loved the academic program they have, their intensity in practice, their coaches were cool, and everything was nice."
"The academics and the way they practiced probably stood out to me the most. They are real strong in academics because they make sure their players go to class and get good grades. They offer a lot of help and the coaches stay on them. I like that."
"The practice was the best I have seen so far. We (he was with his teammate Aaron Murray) got to see them practice twice and they really got after it out there. The players are nice and cool off the field, but they go hard when on it. It was a lot of fun to watch and it is definitely the type of atmosphere I want to be in."
Charles spent some time with one of the current Bulldog tight ends and they got along great.
"Bruce Figgins talked to me about Georgia and he was a real cool guy," the tight end out of Tampa said. "We just hung out and he shared a lot of his opinions about Georgia with me."
