Louisville offers four-star defensive end

Saturday's spring practice at Oakland Park (Fla.) Northeast High School attracted a bevy of college coaches from around the country. Four-star defensive end David Gilbert used that opportunity to showcase his skills to those coaches assembled and came out of the day with several new scholarship offers.

Already possessing offers from the likes of Connecticut, Kansas State, South Carolina, Minnesota and Vanderbilt, the 6-4, 214-pound Gilbert added new ones in the last few days from Wisconsin, Purdue, FAU, Iowa State and Louisville.
