Schwenke blows up after NIKE

Offensive lineman/defensive end Brian Schwenke (6-3, 255, 4.85) from Oceanside, Calif., just may well be the hottest line prospect from the Golden State over the course of the last three weeks. The match that lit this fire was Schwenke's outstanding NIKE Camp performance held in Palo Alto. Since NIKE this talented lineman has seen his offers expand to six.

Schwenke only played one full game and rotated in four others on the defensive side of the ball and in that limited time, he was so impressive that he earned first-team all-league, first-team all-area and second-team all-state as a defensive lineman.

Schwenke started the season as a backup on the defensive side of the ball and was pressed into duty because of injuries. He did, however, start all 13 games his team played in on the offensive side of the ball as a lineman.

As good as Schwenke is on the defensive side of the ball, he is racking up offers and interest for his talents as an offensive lineman.
