Is Landers the next Cali QB to hit the scene?

In a year where the quarterback class is deep, there is a good chance that the next signal caller from the Golden State to blowup is Ted Landers (6-4, 194, 4.8) from Gardena (Calif.) Serra. He was at the UCLA camp on Saturday and was one of the best out of a pretty deep group.

Things are picking up along the recruiting trail for Landers.

"Colorado came by last week to watch me throw," Landers said. "The Colorado coach told my coach that they want to see one more thing in before they offer."

"I have also been talking a lot to Oregon State," Landers said. "I'm going to camp with them on June 14th."

Landers was a first-team all-league performer after throwing for 1,809 yards and 11 touchdowns, against six interceptions while hitting on 60 percent of his passes.
