Hoosiers land QB for 2009

Kellen Lewis has shown how dangerous mobile quarterbacks can be in Indiana's spread offense. Lewis' status for the fall, however, is a bit up in the air, but even if he returns, he still will only have two seasons left for the Cream and Crimson.

That fact is why adding a QB with similar skills has been a priority for the Hoosiers. Jeffersonville's Edward Wright-Baker certainly fits the Lewis mold, and he has become Indiana's first football commit for the Class of 2009. Wright-Baker said the way he felt when he was at IU and the relationship he has developed with the staff were the biggest factors in his decision.
