Top Ten Tigers: Number eight

Fall camp is now just eight days away. Over the next week and a half, leading up to the day of the first practice, PowerMizzou.com will count down the ten most important Tigers for the 2008 season. The list was made up with a look at past performance, expected impact during the 2008 season and depth at any given position. Today, we continue the countdown.

8. Ziggy Hood

Why he's on the list: Simply put, you don't win on a major scale without dominating players up front. Hood is the guy that has to be dominant for the Tigers, especially considering they are breaking in a new starting tackle next to him in Jaron Baston. If Hood can consistently demand double teams, it will free up Baston, Stryker Sulak and Tommy Chavis to make plays.
