Morgan on track to be national recruit

USC's recruiting class of 2009 already stands as one of the nation's best with only 15 commitments.

Looking towards 2010, the state of California will continue to produce several of the nation's premier playmakers. Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft running back D.J. Morgan already garners such praise.

Running a 4.40 electrically timed 40-yard dash as a sophomore at USC's Skills Camp in 2007, Morgan was labeled as a name to watch. After running for 1,185 yards and 10 touchdowns later in the year, Morgan is no longer a recruit schools might keep an eye on.
