Stew, WVU clearly knows that 'Pitt is it'

For West Virginia and head coach Bill Stewart, Saturday's 35-21 victory over Louisville was just Round No. 5 in the seven games or "rounds" of Big East play. The Mountaineers (7-3 overall; 4-1 Big East) enter the 101st Backyard Brawl against Pittsburgh (7-3; 3-2 in conference) well aware that their Big East title hopes rely on closing out the season with wins. So, asked one reporter during Stewart's Sunday teleconference, is the Brawl itself good enough to keep the players motivated?

"We got back on the bus last night and asked everyone what round it is," recalled the coach. "They said 'round six'. I asked them what game it is. They looked at each other and asked 'game 11?' I said you're right on both accounts. So that's how we take it. It might make people mad, but this is game 11, round six of the BIG EAST, and that's our agenda."
