St. Bonaventure Preview

The Mississippi State Bulldogs venture out on the road for the first time tonight traveling to New York to take on St. Bonaventure at 6 p.m.

The Bulldogs began the season at 4-0 in the friendly confines of Humphrey Coliseum.

"You've got to find what you are really made of and you can't find that until you go on the road," said MSU head coach Rick Stansbury. "To win a championship you've got to win on the road. Any time you go on the road this early in the season and gain the experience we are going to gain it is going to help us down the road. Hopefully the outcomes of these games are on the correct side of the column. Either way it is going to make you better and give us a lot of things to point to. This will be a great experience for us here tomorrow night."

MSU was 7-4 on the road last season including a 5-3 mark within the Southeastern Conference.

Tonight will mark the first ever meeting with the Bonnies and State currently sports a 13-4 record against teams from the Atlantic 10 Conference.
