DeSoto boasts top talents in class of 2010
It's not often that a school produces two members of the Rivals 250. However, it's also unusual for a school to continually crank out Division I prospects on an annual basis like DeSoto High School has over the years. As a result, it's not surprising that the Eagles not only can boast 2010 Rivals 250 prospects like corner Adrian White and wide receiver Darius Terrell, but juniors who already have multiple offers like tackle Evan Washington. In addition, prospects like taiback Marcus Murphy are climbing up the charts.
The 5-foot-10, 169-pound White was the MVP of the Nike Camp in Fort Worth last spring and was versatile enough to play both corner and safety this past season. He's already received offers from LSU, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Stanford, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin. He said that due to all of the talent at DeSoto that coaches from North Carolina, Texas, Miami, Baylor, Texas A&M and Texas Tech among others have been by the school this week. White also indicated that interest in him is increasing on a daily basis.
