Apo Takes in Everything About Norman
Early on in his recruitment Ross Apo has been pretty open with his feelings about Oklahoma and the chance to play there in the future. Those feelings were based on some time spent at Oklahoma's camp last summer. The Arlington (Texas) Oakridge School's standout wide receiver came to Norman on Saturday with hopes of learning even more.
It seems the mission was accomplished for the 6-foot-3, 190-pound pass-catcher from the Dallas Metroplex.
"I liked the set-up in the weight room, they've got a rack that I've never seen before. It's got pressure cords on it. The indoor facility was really nice too, I had been there before though," Apo explained. "I liked it. It was more than I was expecting it to be. There was a lot of stuff I didn't know like the student-athlete center and they gave us some facts I didn't know."
One thing that truly stood out to the talented Apo was the same thing that stood out to numerous Oklahoma prospects.
"In the weight-room, I liked the set-up. They have a rack in the weight room I've never seen anything like it," he said. "It's got pressure cords on it. The indoor facility was really nice too. I had been in there before but it was still cool."
