Favors picking up offers

There has been a lot of talk about the Dallas Skyline trio consisting of linebackers Corey Nelson and Dominique Patterson and wide receiver Mike Davis, all of whom currently have multiple offers from BCS program. However, on the opposite side of the Metroplex, there's another trio at Fort Worth Dunbar that has been getting virtually the same amount of attention from college coaches across the country.

Although wide receiver Darius White is probably the most heavily recruited member of the threesome and athlete Dominique Sanders is the most versatile, the most intriguging is Rashod Favors. Favors is listed at 6 foot 1, 230 pounds but runs a 4.5 forty and actually plays safety for the Wildcats. He also averages in double digits for Dunbar's highly successful basketball team and runs the 100 meter, 200 meter, 4 x 100 meter, and 4 x 200 meter relays on the track team. As a result, Favors now has five Division I offers and picked one up this week from a school that has stepped up its interest in both him and the other two members of the Dunbar trio.

The Rivals250 prospect to watch has schoarship offers from Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Stanford, SMU and TCU. He is gaining heavy interest from Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma State and Florida State.
