Bulldogs pickup three weekend commitments

New Mississippi State head football coach Dan Mullen held his first junior day this weekend.

The Bulldog staff invited over 180 potential players to the Starkville campus and deemed it a success picking up three commitments over the weekend, the first of the 2010 class for MSU.

West Point wide receiver/ cornerback Michael Carr, West Lowndes wide receiver/ linebacker/ safety Brandon Hill and Ray Brooks tight end/ defensive end Cordell Giles all made their pledges starting another successful year on the recruiting trail for the Bulldogs.

Carr was the first of the trio to commit. He nearly gave his pledge to the Bulldogs just one day after receiving his scholarship offer back in September but decided to hold off for a little while longer before announcing his decision publically.
