Reggie Carter leads the way

Bruin linebacker Reggie Carter believe it or not will be playing in his senior season. He is the de facto leader of a defense that looks like it has the makings of being a top-notch unit. BruinBlitz.com talked to Carter to get his assessment on how the defense has progress this spring.

BruinBlitz.com: Reggie you are coming into your senior season. Tell me, how do you feel the defense is performing this spring, compared to past defenses?

Carter: "I think we are athletically skilled, just a little bit better. We have bigger guys, stronger guys, faster guys and we are having fun together. I don't know why, but the camaraderie is better. I don't if it is we things in common or we spend more time together, but when we are on that field as 11, we are one unit and we are really having fun together. That's the whole key.

"We talk about going out there dominating and winning. Everybody on the field wants to win and maybe that's the difference. It's not ten or nine wanting to win, it is all 11 of us. We all want to win and that's how go about it."
