In-state DT sets weekend visits

Early spring camps and combines provide prospects the chance to get their names out and emerge from under the radar. Every year players go from practically unknown to highly pursued recruits. Wadesboro (N.C.) Anson defensive tackle Tra Thomas may be on the verge of being the next prospect to fall into this category.

Thomas began seeing his stock rise following participation in a trio of camps/combines - the N.C. Five-Star Showdown, VTO Sports combine and the Shrine Bowl combine held at Butler High School. In those events, Thomas impressed with his natural ability from his defensive tackle spot, along with his power and explosiveness.
