Fast rising corner lands four more

It was six days ago that Rivals.com announced that three-star cornerback Shaquille Richardson (6-0, 182, 4.57) from Los Alamitos, Calif., received his first offer. Since that time, the talented cornerback has landed four more, two of them from the Pac 10. Incidentally, he received his two offers from the two colleges he camped with this past weekend.

Richardson first started gaining recognition from recruitneks when Richardson's standout NIKE performance saw him earn the camp's defensive back MVP award.

The very next day after his NIKE Camp MVP honor, he earned another distinction. This time he earned his school's highly coveted Los Al "Dude" shirt given to players who are leaders and the right things on and off the field.

It appears that Richardson thrives on competition because he followed his NIKE Camp performance with another stellar camp at UCLA and before he could get on the plane to head to Seattle to partake at Washington's Camp he called UCLA and found out he received his fourth offer from the Bruins.

That's not all, he also called Washington head coach Steve Sarkisian last evening and he received his fifth offer from the Huskies.
