SoCal standout gets two NW offers

Two-way standout Hroniss Grasu (6-4, 265, 4.87) from Encino (Calif.) Crespi had an outstanding week going to camps impressing coaches and picking up offers. He picked up his first two Pac 10 offers this past weekend.

Grasu picked up offers from Washington and Washington State while camping at both Pac 10 schools from the Evergreen State. The Cougars and the Huskies join Nevada, UNLV and Wyoming by offering Grasu a scholie.

Grasu is being recruited as both a defensive end the position he has excelled at since his sophomore year and center, the position that the Huskies offered him at.

For the second year in a row, Grasu earned all-state honors for the class of 2010. He was also selected all-area and all-league as a junior.
