Even though he has been on campus for over a year, E.J. Manuel is getting his first meaningful reps in practice. Last fall, the former Rivals100 member was the primary quarterback charged with helping to guide the scout team offense. Then in the spring, which was supposed to be his first opportunity to see meaningful action, he injured his finger on the first day and missed the remainder of spring practice.

Through the first five days of preseason practice it's a very different story for Manuel, who is getting a majority of the snaps with the second team offense. And despite his lack of real time in practice, the 6-foot-5 quarterback has been impressive in passing drills.
