Gulley making a push for playing time

The idea of playing immediately during his Auburn career never occurred to Anthony Gulley.

The true freshman had to learn how to play receiver after spending most of his high school career as a running back. He also needed to learn a new offense.

"I thought I'd come in here and get redshirted and just try to build myself up - get bigger, stronger and faster," Gulley said. "I didn't think I'd be in the running for anything."

Less than three weeks before the season starts, Gulley finds himself in the mix at a couple different positions - receiver and H-back.
