Rahim Moore game replay

UCLA sophomore safety, Rahim Moore was rewarded for one of his best performances as a Bruin by being named the National Defensive Player of the Week by the Walter Camp Football Foundation for his work against San Diego State. BruinBlitz.com and other media talked to the talented safety after the game.

How do you feel about your good friend Aaron Hester?

Moore: "I almost started tearing up. I was mad because I knew how hard he worked. He put in so much work this offseason. For him to go down like that it was painful for him and me, but Courtney Viney stepped in and I told Viney before the game be ready for anything. He (Viney) had his chance and he did well. I am proud of everybody."

What happened to your voice?

Moore: "I lost it last night laughing watching Transformers, laughing and stuff. It was a good movie. Today (Saturday September 5th), there was so much going on I had to have good communication with everybody so it happens. I'm glad we came out victorious."
