For the first time in school history, the class=SpellE>Warhawks have two wins through the first four games of the
season.  This comes after the conference
opening win last week at Florida Atlantic.
ULM will
now look to build on this accomplishment, as they return to Malone Stadium for
today's homecoming contest against FIU.

ULM holds the all-time lead
in the young series by a 4-1 margin, but the one victory by the Golden Panthers
came in 2005 in Monroe.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  2005 was also the last time that the class=SpellE>Warhawks won their season opener and went on to win a share
of the Sun Belt Conference title.

For the Warhawks to prevail in
today's game, the special teams play will have to be the difference.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  Kick return/receiver T.Y. Hilton is an
explosive force that will have to be contained. style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  Hilton was a key playmaker in the Panther's
season opener at Alabama.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  Though FIU lost the contest 40-14, Hilton's
first touch in the game resulted in a 96 yard kick return for a TD.style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  It marked the second straight year that
Hilton's first touch resulted in points for the Panthers.

Things to watch for in today's game:

-style='font:7.0pt "Times New Roman"'>
Streaking.  Both
teams will look to continue player streaks.

ostyle='font:7.0pt "Times New Roman"'>
style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  For ULM,
receiver href="https://louisianamonroe.rivals.com/cviewplayer.asp?Player=59477">Darrell
McNeal will look to continue his current 26 game streak of games with a
reception.  Senior href="https://louisianamonroe.rivals.com/cviewplayer.asp?sport=1&sid=1202&player=75039">Greg
James will look to add another game in his current 36 game starting streak,
while still looking for his first interception of the season, which would tie
the conference career interception mark and break the w:st="on">ULM career mark.

ostyle='font:7.0pt "Times New Roman"'>
style='mso-spacerun:yes'>  For FIU, sophomore phenom
T.Y. Hilton
has a current 14 game streak with a reception, making his collegiate debut the
only game in which he didn't catch a pass.

-style='font:7.0pt "Times New Roman"'>
Rushing the field.
Junior running back href="https://louisianamonroe.rivals.com/cviewplayer.asp?sport=1&sid=1202&player=75032">Frank
Goodin looks to make another move up the career
yardage list.

ostyle='font:7.0pt "Times New Roman"'>
class=SpellE>Goodin needs just 62 yards to take over fifth place on the
all-time career rushing yardage list in ULM
history.  This season the w:st="on">West Monroe, La.
native has averaged 74.5 yards per game.

-style='font:7.0pt "Times New Roman"'>
Sacks.  Senior DE
href="https://louisianamonroe.rivals.com/cviewplayer.asp?sport=1&sid=1202&player=75044">Aaron
Morgan is just two QB sacks from taking over fifth place.

ostyle='font:7.0pt "Times New Roman"'>
Morgan
needs just two sacks to pass ULM
great Brandon Guillory with 20.5 in his career.
This has a great possibility of occurring, as FIU ranks 119th
of the FBS 120 teams in sacks allowed.
