The Starting Five

The Starting Five makes its return to PowerMizzou.com. A player's ranking one week has no bearing on his placement on the list the next week. This is our list of the five Tigers who had, in our opinion, the best week in the Tigers' split with Colorado and Kansas STate:

The Starting Five
1 J.T. Tiller, G After coming very close to a triple-double against the Buffs, Tiller had 11 points and five boards and was the only Tiger to make more than half his shots in Manhattan. NR
2 Keith Ramsey, F Ramsey totalled 23 points and 15 boards while playing 64 minutes in the two games. Ramsey has averaged double figures in the last four games and has become Missouri's most reliable front court player on both ends. 2
3 Steve Moore, F With Justin Safford going down, Moore had to be counted on more. He's delivered with six rebounds, seven blocks, two assists and no turnovers in 40 minutes over the last two games. NR
4 Kim English, F English scored just nine against Colorado, but the Tigers didn't need his offense and he had three steals. In Manhattan, he made six shots when nobody else on the floor seemed capable of making much of anything.. 3
5 Marcus Denmon, G Denmon had a chance to lead this list after putting up 21 points against the Buffs. However, he was just 1-for-8 against K-State, but checks in at number five because he had just one of Missouri's 17 turnovers. 4
