Antonio Brown drafted by Pittsburgh in sixth round

Brown was the 26th pick in the sixth round and the 195th selection overall. He is the first receiver in school history to be selected in the NFL Draft.
Brown joins six other former Chippewas in the NFL, including fellow sixth-round selection Dan LeFevour. Brown is the 33rd NFL Draft selection in CMU history.
Brown is CMU's all-time leader in receptions and ranks second in Mid-American Conference history with 305 career catches. He ranks second in school history in touchdown receptions (22) and third in receiving yards (3,199). He caught at least one pass in each of the 41 games he played during his career.
Brown was twice named the MAC's Special Teams Player of the Year, and he earned All-MAC first-team honors a total of six times: twice as a receiver, twice as punt returner and twice as a kick returner. He returned three punts and two kickoffs for touchdowns during his career.
Brown accounted for touchdowns five different ways during his career: receiving, rushing, passing, kick return and punt return.
CMU also had numerous players who signed as undrafted free agents.
WR Bryan Anderson signed with the New England Patriots.
CB Josh Gordy went to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
DE Frank Zombowent to Green Bay. He was also being looked at as a TE by numerous teams.
