OBHD: The Longhorn Defense is on the Clock

The Texas defense will be put to the test this Saturday when potential Heisman candidate Geno Smith and the West Virginia Mountaineers come to Austin. Smith is currently leads the nation in passing efficiency, passing yards per game, points responsible for, and total offense. Texas QB David Ash said it will be fun to watch Smith.

"Geno Smith's a great player. I watch tape on him and try to get some pointers from the way he plays the game."

The last time the Texas defense faced a Hesiman candidate was at Baylor in the final conference game of the 2011 season and we all know how that ended.

"I told them to keep the Heisman away from Robert (Griffin III) last year and they handed it to him at halftime of our game. I don't think we're in a position right now to be trying to stop Geno Smith, we need to play better defense."

Hear Mack Brown, the coordinators, and the Longhorns breakdown the match up this weekend and also discuss how one true freshman is someone who's role may continue to expand in Horns prepare for WVU.
