Hardee Senior (Wauchula, Fla.) defensive end Keyon Brown isn't lacking for attention these days.

He and his teammates concluded spring practice on Wednesday, and that wrapped up a period of time where college football coaches from all over the country visited the Southwest Florida town.

It would be almost impossible to keep track of all the schools that dropped in to see Brown, but according to the Rivals100 prospect, it isn't nearly as hard to decipher which schools are recruiting him the hardest.

"Right now I'd say Ole Miss, Georgia, Clemson, and Miami are recruiting me the hardest," Brown said. "I think those schools are the schools that are talking to me the most."

Of those schools, Brown says that three stand out and one is currently his leader.

"Georgia is standing out. They are the school that stands out the most," he said. Clemson and Ole Miss are too. Those are the schools standing out the most. Georgia is my leader right now."

UGA extended an offer to Brown in early March, and since that time, the four-star pass rusher says that it is the relationship he has built with the Georgia staff that has the Bulldogs on top.

"The coaches at Georgia, I talk to the coaches a lot, and I just like everything they are telling me," he said. "I know they have a great defense and it is a great place so that is the reason I like them."

Two UGA assistants have been charged with recruiting the Sunshine State talent, and one was in Wauchula to see him in person on Wednesday.

"Coach (Todd) Grantham and Coach (Bryan) McClendon are recruiting me and I like them," Brown said. "They are great guys. Coach McClendon has came down twice, and Coach Grantham was down here today. They just seem like great guys."

Georgia has had a great deal of recent success with pass rushing outside linebackers, the position Brown is being recruited to play by UGA, such as Jarvis Jones and Justin Houston.

Brown says that he has seen that success and believes he knows who deserves a great deal of credit for what those players have been able to accomplish.

"It just tells me how great the coaches are at Georgia," he said. "I don't want to take away from the athletic ability of their guys, but their coach is also putting them in the right place and taught them the right things and the right techniques. It just tells you how great the coaches are there."

Brown hopes to take a number of in-state and out-of-state trips in the near future, and the three schools that are standing out for him right now should get a chance to host him this summer.

"I'm aiming to get up to Georgia this summer to see how things are up there," he said. "I plan to see the in-state schools, but out-of-state wise, I plan to see Clemson and Ole Miss, too."
