The Big O leads Wisconsin

When you have the nation's top offensive tackle in your state, it's pretty easy to guess who will be the top player in the state rankings. So it's no major surprise that 6-foot-7, 315-pound offensive tackle Josh Oglesby leads the way in the Rivals.com Wisconsin top 10.

However, Oglesby isn't the only player that is worthy of special recognition.

Still you have to start any discussion about Wisconsin with Oglesby. He already is a five-star prospect and the top offensive tackle in the land. Overall he ranks as the No. 6 player in the nation. While he does have a massive frame, Oglesby used different words to describe his talent.

"When talk about me, I hope they use words like strength, intelligence and humility," he said. "Just as important as it for people to like me as a player, I want them to respect me as a person off the field. I strive to be a model person and somebody that is able to be coached and taught how to get better on and off the field. I still have a long way to go to get to be the best."

Not far behind Oglesby is the No. 2 player in Wisconsin, running back John Clay.

The Rivals100, four-star prospect is an amazing athlete that is also a special running back. He has great straight line running ability and he's built like a linebacker, so he should be plenty durable in college.

Wisconsin landed an early pledge from both Oglesby and the No. 3 player, receiver Nick Toon. He's a solid receiver that does have good deep-threat ability, but he's especially known for his good hands. The Badgers also have a pledge from the No. 5 player, running back Louis Nzegwu. The 6-foot-2, 230-pound rusher earned a scholarship after tearing it up at the Wisconsin summer camp.

Behind Toon is Victor Reynolds, an amazing athlete that could project at a number of different spots. Reynolds is the next elite player to come from the always loaded Oak Creek program. While he might not have as much national attention as players before him from Oak Creek, he's definitely talented enough to be recruited on the national level.

After Nzegwu the talent does drop down to the two-star level in Wisconsin, but sleepers like Andrew Yuds, Ben Johnson and Marcus Wallace all could end up with solid offers by the end of the season.
