You can call Ryan Broyles a number of different things, but the most appropriate would be confident.

The 6-foot, 170-pound four-star prospect is ready for a challenge any day of the week. So when he was selected by Rivals.com to play in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl, he was ready and willing.

Five facts about Ryan Broyles
His hobbies: "Sports, chilling and hanging out with my friends."
His favorite movies: White Chicks and Friday After Next.
Biggest sports dream: To make the game-winning play in the Super Bowl or in a BCS championship game.
What he wants to accomplish in life: "I want to fulfill all of my dreams and make for a better life for my family."
Plans to major in communications in college.
"Just tell me where to show up, and I'll be there," Broyles said. "The competition is what drives me. I didn't get too much publicity before I attended the NIKE Camp and the guys from Rivals saw me. I showed them at the camp what I'm best at, and now I'm ready to show the entire country. I want to prove to them that I'm one of the nation's top cornerbacks."

He'll get that chance on live television. The all-star game is scheduled for Jan. 4 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and will be broadcast on ESPNU.

"It's a really big honor to be selected by Rivals.com to play in this game," he said. "There isn't always a lot of talent around here in Oklahoma, so this will give me a good feeling where I stand after going against a lot of the best players in the country. This will tell me how I stack up. I know by the time the game is over, you guys at Rivals are going to have me in the Rivals100."

Broyles is also excited about playing in the game because it'll give him a chance to visit Florida.

"I've never been down there before, so it'll be really fun," he said. "I hear the weather is great, and you never know what you're going to get in Oklahoma that time of year. I'm looking forward to it."

Broyles lists Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Arkansas and South Carolina as his top teams. He's already taken visits to Michigan State, Texas A&M.

"I'm going to South Carolina for sure on Dec. 8," Broyles said. "And then it's going to probably be Tennessee or Arkansas. I'm going to take all five of them and then figure out what my school will be. If it's January and I'm still not decided, then there's a chance that I could commit at the All-American Bowl."
