Preseason EA SPORTS Player of the Year Watch List

High school football is right around the corner and Student Sports' preseason football coverage kicks off with the unveiling of the Preseason EA SPORTS National Player of the Year Watch List, which looks at the top candidates for the 2007 National EA SPORTS Player of the Year honor that will be awarded this January following the season.

The worldwide leader in computer sports games has teamed with the editors of Student Sports since 2003 to determine the national honors. The EA SPORTS National Player of the Year Watch List will be updated each week this fall during the season, with players' statistics and outcomes from each week's games documented.

The watch list will also give fans the unique opportunity to contribute, with polls conducted weekly to help determine who should come off and on the list based on the past week's performances.

Candidates for the list and eventual Player of the Year selection are based upon dominant play at the highest level of high school football.
