The good: He's a muscular tackle with good size, mobility and quickness to continue to develop as an NFL prospect. He has come on strong late over his career, including a good postseason that has elevated his stock significantly. He has a fine short area burst that gains him a fast advantage to split gaps and penetrate the backfield.
The bad: He has a good hand punch, but he fails to use it consistently. Dotson shows periods of inconsistency in virtually all areas of technique that need to be addressed. He can be slow to react and gets washed out too often at the point of attack.
