ESPN3 to carry LSU Pro Day live

BATON ROUGE - ESPN3 will provide coverage of LSU's Pro Day on March 27as over 20 former Tigers will be on display for the NFL in advance of next month's draft in New York City.
ESPN3's coverage of LSU's Pro Day will begin at 1:15 p.m. with Tom Hart and former Heisman Trophy quarterback Andre Ware on hand to call the action.

Among the players scheduled to participate in LSU's Pro Day include projected first round draft picks in defensive ends Barkevious Mingo and Sam Montgomery, linebacker Kevin Minter and safety Eric Reid.
All 13 of LSU's early NFL draft enrollees will participate in LSU Pro Day along with seniors P.J. Lonergan, Russell Shepard, Drew Alleman, Josh Downs, Josh Dworaczyk, Chase Clement, Chancey Aghayere, and Lavar Edwards.
"This is always a great day for our program," LSU coach Les Miles said. "It's brings tremendous exposure to our program and serves as a great opportunity for our former players to showcase their talent and abilities in a familiar setting to NFL scouts and coaches.
"Anytime you have every NFL team on your campus because they have a sincere interest in your players, it validates what we are doing as a program and makes you proud as a head coach of what we have accomplished both from a team standpoint as well as the individual accomplishments of our players."
The former LSU players will start go through a series of tests in the weight room starting at noon that day as they will be measured in the vertical and broad jump and then tested in the 225-pound bench press.
The 40-yard dash, along with various other running drills, will start at 1:15 p.m. The day concludes with the players being put through individual position drills beginning at 2:30 p.m.
